We met through one of BMI’s presentations a little over a year ago when Jim and I began exploring the potential sale of our business. There are so many stories about unprofessional business brokers out there. When I share my experience with Paul and BMI, it is different than what everyone else has been through. First, they know how to manage the process so both parties get what they need to close. Paul didn’t shy away from tough questions, even when the answers weren’t perfect. I didn’t feel constantly being “sold”, which built trust. He didn’t make it about himself and let me engage with the owner, which is not always the case. This made me and the owner comfortable to close the transaction and carried over into our post-close relationship.
